This is before any construction took place.

1. 1.

Tom was a very nice guy to work for and we enjoyed working on his unique pond project.

3. 3.

The valley where the pond was to go was full of trees and a dozer path through the middle was required in order to survey it.

From mid pond to dam.

9. 9.

About midway through construction, rain water started flowing into the area that was being excavated for dirt to build the dam. As the picture shows, ridges had to be left to contain the water so the final section in front of the dam could be excavated.

10. 10.

There was approximately 6'-8' of dirt excavated from the final section in order to finish the dam. This picture shows the amount of dirt already removed from the left side of the ponding area. Notice that the left side of the dam is close to finished elavation.
